“En el mar desaparece el ruido y aparecen mis sueños.”
El mar es su refugio, su espacio de sanación y su zona de sueños. “Es el único lugar donde conecto realmente conmigo misma”, dice.
Desde pequeña aprendió el valor de compartir, y eso se refleja en su pasión por enseñar. Su empatía es su mayor fortaleza, y cada curso, aunque el temario sea el mismo, es único para ella gracias a las personas que lo componen.
Como mujer en un sector tradicionalmente masculino, reconoce que ha habido obstáculos, pero también mucho reconocimiento. “Nunca hice aprecio a quien mostró desprecio”, afirma con determinación.
Su pasión por el buceo técnico nació del reto: miedo, emoción y exploración. Con el tiempo, desarrolló una conciencia plena del entorno, disfrutando no solo de lo que ve, sino de comprenderlo.
La apnea, por su parte, le ha enseñado a conocerse desde dentro. “Fue una maestra”, dice, permitiéndole descubrir cómo se relaciona su mente con su cuerpo.
Inma también destaca el valor de su familia: “Son mi mayor tesoro. Siempre me han dado fuerza para ser valiente en cada aventura”. Como hermana gemela de una familia numerosa, aprendió valores que hoy lleva a todos sus entornos, generando conexiones auténticas.
Para ella, la clave de todo está en la actitud:

Inma Marín: Shining Her Own Light
Scuba Instructor – Freediver – Entrepreneur – Mares Ambassador
“In the sea, the noise disappears and my dreams appear.”
Inma Marín is much more than a scuba instructor. She’s a scuba instructor trainer in recreational, technical and cave diving with SSI, a freediving instructor, and co-founder of DiverGente, a dive center located in Isla Plana (Murcia, Spain). She’s also a proud ambassador for Mares and a true reference in the diving world.
The sea is her refuge, her healing space, and where her dreams come to life. “It’s the only place where I truly connect with myself,” she says.
From an early age, she learned the value of sharing, and that shines through in her passion for teaching. Empathy is her strongest trait, and every course she teaches is unique because of the people involved—even when the subject matter is the same.
As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, she’s faced some challenges, but also plenty of recognition. “I never gave credit to those who showed me disdain,” she states firmly.
Her passion for technical diving began as a challenge—fear, excitement, and exploration. Over time, she developed a deeper awareness of the underwater world, learning not just to see it, but to truly understand and appreciate it.
Freediving has been a powerful journey of self-discovery. “It’s been a true teacher,” she says. It helped her understand her body’s signals and how her mind relates to her through thoughts shaped by beliefs.
Inma also emphasizes the importance of family: “They’re my greatest treasure. They’ve always given me the strength to be brave in every adventure.” Growing up as a twin in a large family taught her values that she now brings into every space she inhabits, naturally creating a sense of belonging.
